the body needs such fats to take in fat-soluble vitamins.
• Vitamins: These are important organic constituents of the
diet. And vitamins are required in small amounts for average growth and
activity. Most occur naturally in various foods. Some are fat soluble et al.
water-soluble, and once we do not have a sufficient supply, a deficiency result.
• Minerals: These inorganic constituents are necessary to
human health and are easily acquired from both animal and plant foods.
