Would you even consider using rock bottom grade of fuel possible, neglecting to vary the oil, or totally ignoring all of the manufacturer’s suggested maintenance checks? Certainly not! If you had just paid quite $90,000 for a luxury car, you'd be extremely conscientious about keeping it in optimum condition.

The physical body

Body
The human body is much more beautiful, complex, and finely tuned than any automobile within the planet. Our bodies are a genius of infinite engineering intelligence. consider the wonders of one cell, the complexity of the brain, the intricacies of the guts, or the divine miracle of birth. We stand shocked at the carefully crafted design of a human body. A loving Creator visited infinite lengths to make us, and, sort of a luxury car, our bodies also use the simplest possible fuel to power our lives, which fuel comes from the food we eat. Without premium fuel during a luxury car the mileage goes down, power is lost, and thus the engine doesn't run as smoothly. And without the right nutrition, our bodies just don't function properly either.

Perfect diet
Diet

A diet chosen from the only foods will provide the essential nutrients needed for growth, maintenance, and energy. once we pick low-quality foods or don’t eat enough of even the only foods, the body machinery suffers. And if we overeat highly refined foods, we'll easily become overweight and lack vital nutrients. The One who made us cares about our health, then should we. The apostle John certainly echoed the will of our Lord’s heart when he prayed, “Beloved, I pray that you simply may prosper altogether things and be in health, even as your soul prospers”.

Caring for our bodies isn't something we neutralize addition to being a Christian. it's at the center of God’s plan for our lives. don't misunderstand. We cannot eat our way into heaven. We are saved by grace and beauty alone. However, we may fail to realize God’s purpose for our lives because our poor eating habits bring premature and preventable disease and death. Make no mistake about it: What we eat is significant.

Understanding Good Nutrition

Food
We fuel our bodies from the foods we elect to eat. they supply the nutrients essential for a healthy and productive life. Digestion is that the intricate process of breaking down food into its individual building blocks so as that the body can assimilate and use them to sustain life. This process begins within the mouth, moves to the stomach, then to the small intestines, and eventually to the huge bowel. we will divide the nutrients our bodies need into these important categories:

• Carbohydrates: during a “premium fuel” diet, the most important portion of carbohydrates should come from rich unrefined sources, like whole grains, legumes, fruits, and vegetables.

• Proteins: Every cell within the body contains proteins. Tissue repair and growth require them. While most foods have some protein, animal products like milk and eggs are also good sources, but not the only ones. Legumes (beans) contain excellent protein.

• Fats: These are concentrated sources of energy. we frequently get an excessive amount of fat in our diet because we just like the flavor it imparts to foods. many of us would rather eat French fries than boiled potatoes. Nuts in reasonable amounts afford excellent quality fats. However, the body needs such fats to take in fat-soluble vitamins.

• Vitamins: These are important organic constituents of the diet. And vitamins are required in small amounts for average growth and activity. Most occur naturally in various foods. Some are fat soluble et al. water-soluble, and once we do not have a sufficient supply, a deficiency result.

• Minerals: These inorganic constituents are necessary to human health and are easily acquired from both animal and plant foods. insufficient of them can cause a deficiency.

•Antioxidants and phytochemicals: Scientists now recognize many these substances, which protect the body from disease and a couple of the results of aging. we discover them primarily in whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and nuts.
